not all people

Not all ppl that are depressed CUT!!!!...
she wants to...
but she knows it will let her friends down...
so she hides the hurt...
the hurt...
that's what confuses her most...
she can't seem to figure out y she's hurting...
she's got a good life...
great friends...
and the sister she never had...
and God...
even if her relationship w/ him isn't the best...
he's still there...
yet she still hurts...
and lies...
saying everything's fine...
when it's not...
it's just NOT!!! the people that CARE ask what's up...
or what's wrong...
and she shrugs and says "nothing"....
or "Really i'm fine"...
when inside she's really screaming and crying...
but she feels like nobody will listen...
and even if she did open up...
she couldn't explain it to other people...
b/c she can't explain to herself...
and she's confused...
and somewhere along the line she forgot what started all this sadness...
all this hurt she deals with everyday....
she wants to run from it...
but when she tries...
it finds her...
consumes her...
as she cries...
"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!"...
but it won't...
the pain...

the pain...
it feels ALIVE...
and it feels like it's there just to make her suffer...
and so she cries...
as she screams...
on the inside...
won't let it out....
won't let herself cut...
won't let herself bleed...
for she knows...
it would be w/o cause for her life is really not that bad...
and her friends are great...
but she got something in her that shoves all this away...
and she's got something in her that causes her pain...
and she's soffocating...
and running...
she can't breathe...
she's crying...
but only on the inside....

the song is by flyleaf and is more of a free verse thought pattern, wouldnt you say?
